The impact of lean manufacturing has redefined how businesses will operate in the 21st century. Australian companies are recognising the value and rewards to be gained by adopting a lean culture. Prominent industry leaders like Toyota, Honda and Fosters, are adopting a lean culture as a way to compete in a global market.
In response to industry research TexSkill has identified a need for quality Lean training solutions for senior mangers in Australian businesses. As part of TexSkill’s ongoing support of Australia manufacturing Industries we have developed two nationally accredited, higher educational courses in Competitive Enterprise.
- The Vocational Graduate Certificate in Competitive Enterprise.
- The Vocational Graduate Diploma of Competitive Enterprise.

These courses underpin TexSkill’s “Lean Leadership” course. The courses are facilitated by The Institute for Lean Systems (ILS) from the USA, who have worked in Lean education for many years and have practical experience in implementing Lean. ILS has worked with such companies as Toyota, Ford, Boeing, and Rolls Royce.
The course is delivered through a mixture of theoretical models, simulations and practical exercises with the aim of building the participants skills to drive their company’s Lean journey.
